Once you’re signed in, update your Furzly Writer Profile, you will be able to add your photo, bio, and links.

How to create a story
Once you have logged into your account, you can start creating a story!
1. Click on the “Story” section on the left side of the screen.

2. Click on the “Add New” button under Stories.

3. Write a title for your story, and then write your story. To write a story title or headline, click inside the “add title” section and write your story in the “write your story” field below it.

4. Set a featured image for your story
A featured image is one of the most critical aspects of your story. It creates a beautiful and visual representation of what your Furzly story is all about. (You need to have permission from the photo owner to use a featured image if you did not take it yourself.) We recommend using Unsplash images, they look beautiful, and they are royalty-free.

6. If you need to upload more photos within your story
You can do this by clicking on the “add image” button within the story field.

7. Submit your content
Awesome! You’ve officially written a story for Furzly. Now, press the “Publish” button in the upper right corner of your screen.

After you press “Publish” the button will change to “Submit For Review.” After you press it one more time, you are all done. Our Furzly Staff will now review the post and notify you if any changes are needed.

When I submit a story, what happens next?
After you submit your story, it will be added to our queue and reviewed by our editorial team. Once you have submitted a new story, our team will review the story and either approve or deny it. Don’t worry, we will send you an email for what needs to be changed.
How many words should my story be?
Each story needs to have 500 words. For an all-star post to perform the best we recommend 1000 words.
Will you change my story title?
Our Furzly Staff will rewrite titles only to make them search engine friendly. Check out our SEO Guidelines to learn how to write the best story title.
How often can I write?
As often as you like! The more informational stories we have, the more impact around the world we can make!
When will my story become published?
We publish stories every Monday and Friday. As long as your story follows our SEO, Content and Scoring guidelines it will be posted on those dates.
Can I publish stories that I published somewhere else first?
We dislike duplicate content but as long as the content is 50% original we will accept it
